The Maserati Sfidia R8853140005 is housed in a stainless steel case that measures 44mm in width and 11.2mm in depth. The case boasts a two-tone ‘Sprite’ fixed bezel that exhibits a 24-hour GMT scale that allows the wearer to track a second time zone simultaneously. It works by allowing you to set a reference time on the bezel, and you can then use the watch’s hands or other markers to read the time in the second time zone. The walls of the bezel have a coined edge finish.
At the 3 o’clock position, you’ll find a knurled screw-down crown bearing the Maserati logo, it is protected by a crown-guard which prevents the crown from being knocked out of place. Flanking this crown on either side are two polished push-buttons, granting the wearer convenient access to the dial’s chronograph functions. The watch benefits from the durability of sapphire crystal glass, shielding it from both scratches and potential shattering. A solid engraved caseback ensures the case is securely sealed.
The Dial:
The black dial boasts silver baton-style hour markers and dauphine-style hands come with a luminous coating for enhanced nighttime visibility.
